I just put up a new avatar on the forums, yet when I go ingame to change it, the avatar doesnt appear. Any reason, or am I doing something wrong?

Try clearing your cache and restarting your browser. That should do it.

You need to upload the picture, not link it from an URL for it to work as an avatar

Tried a different browser yet?
And try this. Set to no avatar in game, and then your forum avatar.
