Naw, treachery is cheap and easy to come by. In fact, most people who betray their alliance end up losing their armies and then since they have nothing to offer the new alliance end up conquered by them and losing their crystals.

This was a lazy, boring, atrociously weak backstab.

When you are in the Top 40, you should at least TAKE a colony OR force a relocation. Instead, he spammed, got all the spam killed, taking nothing and relocated.

Why waste your time with a spam assault at all as they are so inconsequential and easy to defend. Literally, we saw this and within 20 minutes had the entire situation clear and already began working against his main army.

He caused far more damage to his own alliance members than GIFT itself. If you're going to do something like that, do it so you really weaken the other side. Steal crystals and get out of dodge into another hive where they can't get you.

Work to get more people to join you and really make it crazy.

Otherwise, why bother.

I agree, I don't think he did as much damage as he might have. But while it was a weak strike, it was an incredibly well placed one. Spiced things up for me

Only problem is because of that early unforeseen move now Gift will be more cautious and my spy in the main will not be able to pull a similar stunt anytime soon...bummer

lol, a similar stunt? I can see how a member can cause havoc in an alliance but I don't think you can reach the same level of ability to incite chaos without being the leader
