I'm pretty sure alliances could only cover their ALLOCATED SLOTS...

But what ever I can't be bother arguing. Maybe someone with sense will pop up and agree with me that players who dropped out shouldn't be replaced by players in another alliances territory.

If not why bother hold community events to please all players, when obviously we still have players in this game who look to bend the rules (and you can't deny this isn't bending the rules), just so they can put themselves in a clear advantage over other alliances. Regardless to how it will effect the other alliance that came here to have some fun too... It's all about your alliance :)

we are not bending the rule, this is an unexpected situation, and we made sure that it's within the rule before we accept those 2 players.

Make that 3... Seems you want KILT territory too

Since I'm not playing this stupid thing, let me weigh in with an unbiased opinion.

1: Andy is right, sort of. That shouldn't have happened, and you should have either made sure your replacements built in the proper areas, or if you found them in game, told them you couldn't recruit them because of the rules.

2: This argument can be stopped by the players/alliance in question just not expanding/conquering or taking mines at all. Just have them build up, relocate then go from there.

Again, that's just my honest opinion on the matter.

As the event organizer, I agree with the 2nd option here. Don't have them expand or anything, just have them relocate and be done with it.

You did not ask me before if you could recruit off the map for replacements. The problem is I don't know if these replacements were actually planted by you in the first place to subvert the rules.

Ohwell.

There are only 11 people I asked to build in this era, and 2 of them failed me and are continuing to do so. I know I'm not making fans of my trust here, but they didn't show up, were completely unreachable and I know I wasn't supposed to stay there crossing my arms and do nothing. With 3 empty spots. I sure as hell don't expect Ari to run around M2 with just 5 members. I recruited from ingame, and the moment that I sent "The last of us" an invite, I sent you a Skype message telling you I was going to go with option #2, a I told him to not take a single conquer, mine or op there. The ones in the center had expanded a while before being recruited, and I will admit the option didn't occur to me for all the members I recruited so they've done their share of expansion. I can only facepalm and say this was a mess, because even when you organized this incredibly well, it just turned out that the pieces would somehow screw up one way or another.

So on that line of thought, this is why I kept asking about the rules; I know something would be screwed up, so I wanted the limits of our actions to be clear; never the rules said that 3 people would bail out on me, because even when all leaders should've also kept bugging their members asking if they were still playing, I got the personal experience that I did JUST THAT and the guys still didn't show up ONLY on the day of truth. And even if we got control on the center or what not, I am probably the LEAST happy about this, because it's *CENSORD* annoying, frustrating and tiring that things go so *CENSORD* out of plans when you're almost sure that won't happen. I just kept playing and I want to keep playing and give my messed up, but best try. I was missing members, I recruited the best people I could, that was all there was to it. Believe it... or not. Up to you. Let's just get the party going once and for all.

I can only agree with Andy. It might not technically be in the rules, but then again you can use the same reasoning and justify banning someone for conquering a random newb. If you needed replacements, they should have been in your territory or should simply not have expanded in the other area.

Just an (interested) outsider's opinion.

Some dropped because of the tick speed, some dropped because (like me) they can't play this month.

I placed late and was unaware of any boundaries due to my rampant lack of skype activity.

I was also told by several different leaders, I wont mention names, that I was actually on their team. Very sneaky from them but it seems like none of them will be on the competetive end of this round so I suppose it is all well and good.

I placed frantically thinking what was best for my alliance (as I always do), before VD could tell me that we were restricted to an area. My foul there gents.

As far as subs go, I am with everyone else... Subs blow and I want to conquer every last one of them and relocate them off the map. Tis not my say, but I assure you I will step in if its being used unfairly.

Although I will not entirely halt my innitial build, I did start late so it should have already pushed me back enough. I will relocate in 24 ticks.

Good luck and happy hunting!

-Pete
