dude this should be in newbie questions but anyways you click on little "!" on the top left of your screen then find the alliance invite (it should be gold) then clikc on it and click accept the green thumbs up sign  ^if you need more help you check out the Adopt-A-Newb Center here --> viewtopic.php?f=47&t=1036

Go to events, click on the alliance invite, and press the green thumbs up.
